Authentic mastic «tears» from the island of Chios are mixed carefully with herbs, pure ethanol and water in traditional copper alembics working by direct fire.
After 10 hours of distillation and with a lot of patience we receive only the heart or the distillate with «head» and «tail» cuts being rejected and removed.
Later and only when our Head distiller decides to , the distillate is mixed with pure water and extra fine sugar to make «Chandolia Mastic Liqueur» the only of this premium quality .
